Food for widows, elderly and refugees

In Odessa, there are many families in need of assistance with food. BTI was introduced to a group who was helping 60 families, most of which were widowed or had husbands that were disabled while fighting in the war. We supported these families in January and February of 2024.




Many of the elderly are no longer getting funding from their government and rely on other outlets to get enough to eat. BTI was proud to help these senior citizens who simply can not help themselves.





Innocent civilians from all over Ukraine are settling into Odessa every day as their homes and towns are being destroyed. These people are scraping by in a new city with very little chance of finding work. Just $25 can feed a family of four for one month. BTI is continuing our assistance of these people with our volunteers on the ground and communications with our connected organizations. Local volunteers assembling the food bags below:
